Wherever I May Roam is a fantastic example of classic Metallica taken from the epic Metallica - Metallica album released in 1991 the song and the album still stand strong today.  A consistant live favourite the song lyrics are a testament to touring bands and life on the road touring something Metallica have consistantly done.   

The song is often misquoted as being called Anywhere I May Roam and Anywhere I Roam this is obviously because these lyrics feature heavily in the chorus rather than those that are featured in the song title.  It isn’t till the end of the song that the words Wherever I May Roam are repeated as the track fades out.
